Mediation Fees

  • Administrative: $250.00 per party, per day.
  • Mediation Initiation Fee: $500.00 per party, per mediator and for every postponements or rescheduling of a hearing within three (3) calendar days of a scheduled hearing
  • Neutral’s Fee (per party): $_____ per hour depending upon neutral
  • Conference Room Fee (per room/per party): $150.00 (no fee for virtual meeting)
  • Contemporaneously with Request to Schedule Mediation, the party demanding mediation must pay its share for the Administrative Fee and the Initiation Fee;
  • After we receive the request to schedule mediation, then we will then give notice to both parties who must pay a deposit of $2,000.00 to be applied to their final bill (and the Responding Party(ies) must pay its Administrative Fee and Initiation Fee);
  • They will then be assigned a Neutral and they will work together to schedule the mediation;
  • The mediation will be governed by the Georgia Center for Arbitration & Mediation’s “General Mediation Procedures.”
  • There is a four (4) hour minimum charge for all hearings and all cancellations, or postponements made between ten (10) and four (4) calendar days of the scheduled matter;
  • There is an eight (8) hour minimum charge for all hearings and all cancellations or postponements made within three (3) calendar days of the scheduled matter;
  • Hourly fees are the same for any additional time spent on the initial telephone conference call, pre-mediation matters, document review, research, written findings of fact/law, or if necessary, to prepare an informed award or evaluation.
  • A final bill will be presented at the conclusion of the mediation, and the Parties are expected to pay at that time.
  • Under no circumstances will any award or order be given until payment-in-full has been received
  • The Parties are responsible for any post-mediation work performed by the neutral net ten (10) days.
