In today’s fast-paced world, conflict is inevitable—whether in business, families, or communities. But how we handle those disputes can make all the difference. Meet Caroline Wight Donaldson, a skilled attorney and registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, who is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations navigate conflict with skill, empathy, and a deep commitment to finding amicable solutions through mediation and arbitration.
Caroline Brings Years of Diverse Legal Experience to the Table!
Caroline’s career began with a strong foundation in law. After earning her law degree with honors from the University of Georgia, she joined the Georgia Office of the Attorney General, where she honed her legal skills and developed a deep understanding of state law. From there, she moved on to a prominent role at Ford & Harrison, LLP, where she represented airline clients in labor arbitrations and collective bargaining agreements. Her work in both Atlanta and Washington, DC, provided her with valuable experience in high-stakes negotiations and the intricacies of labor law.
But Caroline’s journey didn’t stop there. She also made her mark in the legal recruiting industry by helping establish the Atlanta office of a Nashville-based agency, where she worked tirelessly to connect top legal talent with leading firms. This combination of legal practice and recruiting gave Caroline a broad view of the challenges businesses face and the importance of effective, thoughtful leadership in resolving conflicts.
Beyond her legal career, Caroline has always been committed to making a positive impact in the communities where she’s lived. Over the years, she’s called Seattle, the Bay Area, and Northern Virginia home, where she actively took on leadership roles in schools and philanthropic organizations. Whether organizing events, raising funds for local causes, or mentoring students, Caroline has always sought ways to make her community stronger.
Now back in her hometown of Thomasville, Georgia, Caroline’s passion for community service continues to thrive. She brings this wealth of experience and dedication to her work, striving to create a more harmonious environment for those with whom she works. She will be working from our Thomasville office which serves the surrounding area including Valdosta and Albany. In addition, for those seeking her subject-matter expertise, she can travel or conduct virtual ADR services.
